I wanted to create an artwork that is both uplifting and soothing. Hence, keeping the colour palette gentle with lots of cool tones and pastels, I created rolling green fields awash with cottony balls of wildflowers in a multitude of colours. This is a joyful piece that instantly lifts one’s mood.
This is an original artwork by Ying Sloan, created with watercolour and gouache on 100% cotton paper.
